Netgear D7000 - Modem Only Mode
Good Morning all,
Quick question regarding a Nighthawk D7000 Modem/Router
We have a VDSL connection (Transfer Mode VDSL(PTM), DSL Mode VDSL2) and we currently use the D7000 as the primary modem router.
We want to install a Sonicwall with backup LTE
If I configure it as a "Modem Only" and configure the SonicWALL with the PPPoE settings, will this work?
See (very) basic diagram below (I have attached the current settings on the modem as well)

I can't comment on the SonicWALL, I have never owned one and wouldn't know how to set it up, but essentially the answer is "yes".

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so there may be useful responses here. However, routers aren't modems and this place won't get to many people with one, so you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
DSL Modems & Routers
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
