Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Have wireless connection but no LAN. IPV4 OK but no IPV6 connection

Have a new Nighthawk AC1900 router replacing old Netgear modem. Have excellent wifi signal and internet access on PC (Windows 7) but no broadband LAN connection. I'ver tried all problem solving PC programs but no issue is identified.  IPV4 connection shown as ok but no access for IPV6.  Any help, in language a non computer expert would understand please!

Lets geat a few things out of the way.

 

What model is the router?  (AC1900) is a speed.

 

What firmware version is it running?

 

So you are connected via WiFi, but a wired connection does not work...  Is that correct?

 

Plug that device in via ethernet...  disable WiFi.  What IP is the device getting?

 

You can determine this on the PC and/or by looking at the the list of attached devices in the router's admin portal.
