What color is that power light when it turns on?
Orange/amber?
might have corrupt firmware and be a canidate for a tftp procedure.

here's a guide on doing it with a mac. The thread is about an R7000 but the process is the same.
If you don't have a device with an ethernet port, then you'd need to get a usb-----ethernet adapter because it needs to be hardwired in to do.

Could be a hardware problem, or your "attempt" could be bad.
The TFTP recovery scheme is a multi-step procedure which offers
multiple opportunities for user input, hence user error. By itself,
saying that you attempted it doesn't say much. Especially when
using a command-line program, copy+paste is your friend.
