Netgear Nighthawk R9000 How to setup 2 USB External Hard Drives

I am  unable to get my Nighthawk R9000 to recognise more than one USB external hard drive. I currently have one USB hard drive connected without any issues and can access the directories on the drive from my windows 10 PC, however when

i connect a 2nd USB hard drive i cannot see it (its a verfied working driver)

To exclude the potential issue of some incompatible storage device partioning of file system: Does each of the two USB storage devices work on their own? If not - well possible one of them isn't formatted with a file system [officially?] supported by the R9000 (or any other Nighthawk router) - for example ExFAT (which works here in my tests on 1.0.5.2 why ever).

Does the other Volume (USB Device) show up in the Advanced REadySHARE settings on creating a new share?

Thanks for your feedback, I have rechecked the drives again.. the existing working hard drive is a Seagate Firecuda 2TB drive using NTFS - this is working fine

I am trying to connect an additional drive  Seagate Backup Plus 2TB drive also using NFTS but this is not detected on the R9000 but works fine when connected to my PC

When unplugging the first (and working) one, is the other drive recognized on the same port? And then, are the known working one(s) operational on both ports?

One point worth doing: Run an in-depth file system check on the non-reconned NTFS storage device (on Windows) and retry.

Please remember to post about this here for your model router:

You might try Voxels 3rd party FW as well.
Good Luck.
