Netgear Nighthawk X6 (R8000)
I bought this modem couple months ago, and i m facing only disapointment for a 300U$ modem.
I have 3 iphones and 2 ipads connected most of the time,one smart tv (most the time after 9pm to watch netflix), a xbox one (sometimes) all this using wifi and one computer wired connected.
My room is around 30 ft from the modem (in L shape), the internet on the iphones (6 plus) is terrible on my room (netflix on smart tv works fine sometimes)
the connection drop off occasionally, the computer (wired connected to the modem) lost connection all the time, the modem ip 192.168.1.1 is not acessible sometimes
Like, right now i just did a speed test on my computer, i got 45 MB down and 25 MB up, after 2 minutes the same test return 15 mb down and 6 mb up, and then i lost connection (my computer) after 1 min the connection was just fine.
The iphones the same happen, its works fine, then i cant load any video on facebook app, i go to wifi connections, and i change from 5gz - 1 to 5gz 2 and works litle better, but still slow.
Youtube videos on the ipads is terrible, take a while to load.

Figure out the wired PC problem first. It may be your ISP.
I have this router on 188.8.131.52 Been using for several weeks after shelving my r7000 due to HOSED FW updates. I havn't experienced any droped clients, VPN to wife's office stays up for over 48 hours.

3000 sq ft house router located 2nd floor south end, office 1st floor north end. 60 ft away. Lower the mode or rate will help cover devices with marginal (low) signal.
