Netgear Nighthawk X6 Router
Recently purchased a Nighthawk router. Specifically AC3200 Tri-band WiFi Router. It was supposedly watching my entire system guarded with Bitdefender. However I was told through an email I needed to update my firmware. While attempting to do just that my router encountered an error in the download and locked up. Since then it has become an unusable piece of plastic. There seems to be no way to unlock, update and start using again. Any suggestions for solutions will be appreciated.

Re: Netgear Nighthawk X6 Router
@microchip8 is right. You're probably an ideal candidate for tftp.
re you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9DLrLQrpaw
and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash
Current setup: CAX80->Trendnet TEG-S380->GS716T-> RBK752->pi-hole
