Netgear R7000P 5Ghz dropping - i have a hardware solution!
Hello Guys! I solved a famous 5Ghz problem for a R7000P.
I removed the cover from the processor and found that the thermal pad had dried and became hard like plastic.
I cut a piece on a chip chip 2 mm thick and assembled and created a good clamping force.
And now everything works stably, regardless of the firmware!

I did it, I even change the thermal pad that holds the chip cover, and still drops the 5g after 30 minutes, then it comes back, but it only does that when my son plays with his pc.

After I deactivated the mu-mimo and also the router was out of date and time zone, after changing that it seems that it fixed the problem!!
