Nighthawk R7300
Firmware Version
V1.0.0.54_1.0.17
My R7300 had been working fine for almost a year, but in the last month the wireless itself will go into an disabled/off status randomly (internet still works fine for hard connected devices) - the config screens show off. Restarting the router will restore it, but it could last days or just hours and force me to restart it again. I have reset it to factory settings, I'm on the latest firmware build. I'm going to try installing an older firmware to see if that fixes it, just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this before.

Good morning, I did two things which seemed to resolve the issue.
1. I disabled the 5G radio since nobody in the house uses it, 2G is more stable.
2. I unchecked the "Enable Router's PIN" as I think this was the actual source of the problem as it will turn off the wifi after failed attempts.
Thank you
Matt

Hi mrhometech,
Did it work reverting to previous firmware?
