Netgear R7960P Readyshare issues with admin vs guest users Windows and IOS
I have read a lot of posts about readyshare, and can access my router USB shares from Windows 10 (and 11) using my netgear router admin login and password. Where I am stuck is in accessing the shared folder I have set to All - No Password. No matter how I change and apply various readyshare configurations on my router, I can only access the "Music" share using the admin login credentials.
Router firmware is latest.
Appreciate any help or suggestions, and hopefully the attached jpeg answers any questions about the details of what I'm doing and what should be a fairly simple set-up, pretty much like I think the product manual describes...

Re: Netgear R7960P Readyshare issues with admin vs guest users Windows and IOS
We'd like to know the following:
What is the exact firmware version of the R7960P?
Have you tried using a different USB drive? If yes, does the issue persist?
Does the issue happen to the accessible folder when set to 'All - No Password' as well?

Re: Netgear R7960P Readyshare issues with admin vs guest users Windows and IOS
Firmware Version V1.4.2.84_1.3.42
Problem has changed; I made some folder changes on the USB drive, to just \Music and \Video folders, and deleted the windows saved network drive credentials (windows cmd prompt: NET USE * /DELETE) and tried to access, and can now access both folders, setting up mapped network drives in Windows 11, without having to enter any passwords.... picture attached... I have not tried a different USB drive.

Please try using a different USB drive with smaller capacity for testing. Let us know how it goes.
