Netgear Router Orbi disconnects devices with static ip
Hello,
I have a router orbi running the latest firmwar (not sure about model) that keeps disconnecting my devices with a static ip
I set the IP using advanced > lan setup > <filled out info and hit apply>. It usually works for about a day, then the device is spuriously disconnected from the router. About an hour or two later it will reconnect. The device in question has been automatically configured to have the assigned IPv4 address, and both device and router have a matching IPv4 configuration + MAC address. Our modem is incapable of working as a router, the device is connected over ethernet, and there are no other access points on our network.
Any help is appreciated and needed

Re: Netgear Router Orbi disconnects devices with static ip
what modem is it?
When the device disconnects, what error do you get? does it say "connected, no internet". Does it see the wifi but not connect to it? does it not see the wifi at all? What actually happens?
Does it happen to wired devices ?
