Netgear Router is Like a Partially Restored Car
I've had a AC1750 R6700 router for about a week - an unpleasant week. If you've ever restored a classic car from the chassis up, you realize that just when you think it's finished something new crops up. That's what it's like using this router. I never know from minute to minute if it will slow to a point where I have to cycle my computer's wifi connection or reboot the router. Then there's routerlogin.net making me "recover" my password, or it loses track of DNS. And have you read the "manual?"
I'd return it in a minute if I had confidence that I wouldn't face the same litany of problems with another company's router. From what I've read they're all glitchy with terrible customer support.

That can result from configuration issues.
But you don't seem to have come here to fix problems.
