Network no longer appears - Nighthawk R7960P
I have 3-6 devices connected to my wifi network and everything has been working until recently. Now our orginial network name doesn't appear, instead our devices are connecting to a generic 'netgear' wifi connection that is 'open'. The old network isn't available, or doesn't even get detected.
When I try to manually connect through my WIndows 10 'Network and Sharing Center' is also can't find the original, secure network. Strangely enough, when I connect directly with the ethernet cable, the original private network is used.
I've contacted Netgear support and the hardware is apparently working. I also contacted our interent provider, but they were unable to help and directed me back to Netgear.
Anybody have a similar issue? Thanks for any help.

Re: Network no longer appears - Nighthawk R7960P
Which firmware version are you on?
What modem/gateway are you connected to?
maybe it was reset. The hardwired connection is just a name windows assigns, its not something the router controls.
have you tried factory resetting and reinstalling the router?
