New Centurylink Modem to Nighthawk AC1750
Hi, I'm upgrading my CTL internet to bonded 80MB from 40MB.. I currently have a Centurylink C1000A modem (In bridge mode) that's hooked up to my AC1750... When I get my new VDSL2 modem from centurlink, Will I have to do anything to the AC1750 to recognize the new modem? Can I just plug the ethernet from VDSL2 modem into the AC1750 and everything will work as normal? curious if I need to reset the Nighthawk or reset all the configurations if we get a new CTL modem. Tks!!

That's what I'd expect. _After_ you configure your (unspecified) "my
new VDSL2 modem" so that it works with your new DSL service, and put it
into a modem-only ("bridge") mode, as you did with the C1000A. Assuming
that any PPPoE credentials which might be configured on the router don't
get changed when your DSL service gets changed.
What could go wrong? You might ask CenturyLink what they'll break
before they do it. That way, your post-change complaints can be more
