New Firmware for R8000P - Version Number and Community Feedback Requested
Did Netgear just drop a new firmware update for the R8000P???
I got an automated notification from my router, but I can't find any literature about it on the website. Given all of the issues folks have had with firmware updates in the past, I will wait until I get some feedback from the Netgear community before I install it. I'm on version .64 right now and it's pretty stable for me. I haven't had any firmware update issues with this router yet, knock on wood.

You could start by reading the release notes for the new version.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and look for new firmware and its release notes.

I just updated mine to that one yesterday. and it's an improvement for sure - most of my previous issues are gone, but I also found a new bug with the Timezone and NTP not being saved, something that used to work before.

Updated yesterday via the browser and no issues - in fact I feel the network is working better and the devices are all recognized which was a problem with previous FW. Good luck.
