New router installation

I just set up my new router based on the given instructions. Once I did that, I opened the Nighthawk app to finish setting up my new router. On the app it says all of my cables are connected but, I am not receiving any signals. I was able to create a Nighthawk account and it recognizes my router but, it says that it is offline. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

The wifi isn't visible? The internet LED isn't right? You get no internet when you plug things into the router?

 

What is the modem in front of this router?

 

What do the LEDs look like on the router?

 

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
