Soo I ended up factory resetting the Nighthawk router and reinstalled everything and it worked like a charm the second time around !! I tried the QoS setting and it ended up slighty decreasing my download speeds but greatly reducing my uploads speeds so I wont be using that setting unfortunately. It did sound good in theroy though haha
What speed is your Internet? Netgear says turn it off for really fast (~Gb) Internet, probably on the ground that you don't need it.
My hardwire comupter at speed.net get 190mbs and 13 upload
My cellphone on a wireless network gets around 150mbs with 10 upload
