Newbie Question - 2.4 and 5Ghz setup as separate and selectable networks
Hi.
Newbie here. Just bought an Orbi RBR40. Is it possible to set up dual networks that are slectable so you can choose to use 2.4GHz or 5GHz simply by slecting the network that is that speed? Sorry if this is an elementary question, I am still learning (hopefully quickly).
Thanks in adcance,
Brian Brown

Not with Orbi.
Some other routers you can but orbi locks them down. You used to be able to telenet in and seperate them but even that option was removed.

Does this mean there is setup issues with IoT devices that require 2.4? Don't have a need just browsing and saw this. Folks with normal routers have do things like stop 5Ghz wireless to setup IoT.
