NightHawk AC1900 C7000 slow speed on LAN side

I have a brand new AC1900-C7000 connected to Comcast. Wireless clients all geta 140-150MB but all of the devices on the LAN side are reduced to around 40-50. ALl new CAT6 cables and tested on both Mac and PC's with 1G ethernet.  v1.01.19

Is this a known issue?

 

It is even worse if I connect the AC1900 toa ProSafeVPN336G  router speed drops to 25+-

Need to get this resolved pront.

I would suggest contacting netgear phone support something may be wrong with the unit if you just bought it should still be under warranty.

What color are the LAN port lights showing on the router? If they are off, it means nothing connected. If it is amber, it means it is connected at 100Mb/s, if it is white, then it is 1Gb/s.

If for some reason it is showing amber, then it is not detecting it as a Gigabit port, and you will definitely get sub 100Mb/s speed.

If the lights are white, then try doing a reset to factory defaults, and re-entering all your settings. For the router model (R7000), this has sometimes helped.

WMM is a WiFi thing (Wifi Multi Media), so it shouldn't affect LAN speeds.

Definitely want QoS off, especially for higher bandwidth ISP service.

I have comcast internet 150 mbps service, but I was only getting 75 mbps on the speed tests.  When I plugged my laptop directly into the Comcast box, it was getting 150, but plugged into the NightHawk R7000, I was getting 75.  I check the advanced section, LAN Port, Show Statistics button, and it showed the WAN port at 100M.  There was no reason for that.  I replaced the network cable between the NightHawk and the Comcast box, and that fixed the problem.  The WAN port now shows 1000M.  My laptop plugged into the NightHawk now tests at 150 mbps.
