NightHawk

Hello. We have a dual band router and both were up and running for several months. I went into the app and was checking on things and lost one of the bands. Now I can’t seem to get it back on so it is visible and accessible. What do I do? Thanks.

Re: NightHawk

1. What router is it? nighthawk is a series of router.

2. What modem are you connected to?

3. firmware on the router?

4. have you tried logging into the router through the browser (not the app) and checking to see if the radio is broadcasting? Or if ssid is enabled?

5. Some nighthawks have smart connect. without knowing which model you have, not sure if yours does. If so, is it enabled?

You can go to netgear.com/support/   type in your actual model number. It has manuals, guides, troubleshooting.  All are very helpful for situations like yours.

Current Setup: CM2000-> RBK750-> GS716v2-> RAXE500-> Pi-hole->

Re: NightHawk

Thanks for your reply.

The router is a R7000P.

I had two bands and now only one is appearing.  I named one HolyMoley and the other GWL Bagels.  Both had a secure and a guest network.

What setting turns off a band?  How do you bands off and on?
