NightHwak D8500 and ExpressVPN firmware flash

Dear Experts

Looking for my NightHwak D8500  to use ExpressVPN and I have been advised that ExpressVPN firmware need to be installed.

Is the router upgradable to use Expressvpn firmware ?

Just post your question in the section I linked to earlier.

If ExpressVPN cannot help you, then you probably won't get much help here either.

Some people put third party firmware on their Netgear devices, but there isn't much of that around for modem/routers.

That is a  modem router. These seem to less open to accepting alternative firmware.

As Netgear doesn't support this sort of thing, your best bet is to ask the people at ExpressVPN if they support this hardware.

By the way, it may not matter, but you have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.) Your device is a DSL Modem/Router.
