Our internet service package is 200mbps. The speedtest shows the router is getting 90mbps. How can a program the router to get 200mbps?

Yes look at the user manual or in the modems web page and check for bridge mode. This is all thats needed. If you can get in to bridge mode then try this, you can still test with the PC connected to the modem or go ahead and connect the other NG router to the bridged modem and test. If your stil not betting full speed either at the modem or with newer router in place and modem bridged, then try testing with different PC as well. If same problem, then you may need to contact your ISP and have them check your line signal up to the modem.

Whats the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the router is connected too?

Is this the modem?
https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/cable-modems-routers/C6250.aspx
If so, then it already had a router built in...
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.

Re: Nighthawk AC1750 does run at highest MBPS
I plugged the PC directly into the 6250 and it got 60mbps. Why aren't the modems getting the full 200mbps from the ISP right out of the box?
The routers are set up this way to take advantage of the ethernet ports to support various devices. Will the ethernet ports on the 6250 still work when it is in bridge mode?
Would you suggest any threads or websites to get instructions on enabling bridge mode?
