Nighthawk AC1750 will not connect to 2.4 Ghz
I have not had any luck setting up 2.4 Ghz Wifi network on my AC1750 Smart WiFi Router. Devices cannot find it, and will only find the 5.0 Ghz network. I have rebooted numerous times, and did a full reset of the router, to no avail. Removed password, and no luck. .Created 2.4 Ghz Guest network, again no luck.
I see that this is an issue elsewhere with other Netgear routers (2.4 Ghz fails, 5.0 Ghz success), but have not encountered any success.
Appreciate any guidance.

Re: Nighthawk AC1750 will not connect to 2.4 Ghz
In advanced wireless, make sure smart connect is not enabled.
Name your 2.4 Ghz SSID something simple until you get this sorted out.
Make sure 20/40 Mhz coexistance is not enabled.
Select your security option to match the devices you want to connect.
Name your 5 Ghz SSID the same as the 2.4 except append -5G to the end.
Select your security option to match the devices you want to connect.
Apply your new settings and you should be able to find and connect to either the 2.4 or 5 Ghz bands if your connecting device supports both bands.
If you have not done so, determine if you have the R6700, R6700V2, or R6700V3 and download the manual from the downloads section. Read about wireless setup.
