Nighthawk AC1900 Model R7000 - can't install firmware

Hi!

During firmware update we had the router powered off for some reason. now we have blinking white power light. 

i want to try the TFTP solution but the problem is the router and the ISP modem has the same IP (192.168.1.1). is it safe to make it or will it apply on the ISP modem as well? The modem is a Chinese brand

You need firstly to download firmware file for the router. When just disconnect you modem from the router. In Windows or MAC setup manual IP address to you LAN adapter (something like 192.168.1.2) and with connected router via LAN use TFTP for recovering firmware in you router. You may use TFTP server program. In CMD of Windows make this command:
tftp -i 192.168.1.1 PUT here_you_firmware_file_name

Yes . I used The CMD to do it, not the TFTP software. Exactly as you told me...

And an important thing to do is to turn on the Windows Features from the CONTROL PANEL.
