Are you seeking help to solve a problem of some sort? Or just passing on information?

There's not enough information in there for problem solving. For example, what is the firmware version in there?

There is support material, including a manual, for the R7000 somewhere at the end of this link:

Just another user.

My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V

Re: Nighthawk AC1900 Model R7000

This is a new router recently installed and properly functioning but the solid amber light is my concern. I’m unable to find any information in the troubleshooting that addresses this issue. As I previously stated all 4 Ethernet ports are being used but the 1 light is solid amber and the other 3 are unlit. Is this indicating there’s something wrong? If so what?

   "all 4" _LAN_ "Ethernet ports"?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Further reading might be
useful, too, but look for "LED and button descriptions":

      Ethernet ports 1-4

The LED color indicates the speed: white for Gigabit Ethernet
connections and amber for 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps Ethernet
      connections.

o Solid.  A powered-on device is connected to the Ethernet port.
o Blinking.  The port is sending or receiving traffic.
o Off.  No device is connected to this Ethernet port.

The non-psychics in your audience may have little or no idea what
might be at the other ends of your Ethernet cables.

Thanks for the replies. As I’m not at all tech savvy your advice and suggestions are appreciated. As it turned out the LAN Ethernet cables weren’t connected to anything, explaining the unlit lamps. These cables were connected in the replaced router so I assumed they were needed but not the case.
