Nighthawk AC2300 Compatability
Hi community, I purchased a Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Router in the United States and it works well. I am about to move to Australia for a while and want to know if this router can be used in Australia. My question is really about the power as US and Australian power (electricity) is different. Is it a case of use an adapter and everything will be ok, or can I purchase an Australian power plug (that would come in the Australian version of the Nighthawk AC2300) and switch the US plug for the Australian one. Thanks.

Every region has different broadcast laws. A lot of US routers are locked to the US region. There's ways around that but you'll want to use a google search to find that.
I would look at the power supply on the device you have. Many of netgear's power supplies will take from 100-220v so all they need to do is change the socket type instead of source whole new power supplies for each region. it should list on the power supply data sheet so you can compare it. If that's the case, all you'd need would be a cheap pin adapter instead of a whole new power supply.
