Nighthawk Cell Data Issue

When no devices are connected to the hotspot, the hotspot goes into a sleep mode where it no longer sends data unless the power button is pressed. I would like to know if there is a way to keep the nighthawk sending data even when devices are not connectes. I saw someone with a similar issue and he was given the answer of "If there is no activity for a period of time, the device will power down to save battery power. Pressing the power button will wake it up. You can change the WiFi standby time by doing the following:

Access UI > Settings > Setup > Wireless > change WiFi Standby to Disabled. " which does not resolve my issue as the nighthawk has no UI settings function. Thanks for all help.

Re: Nighthawk Cell Data Issue

1. Your in the wrong forum. Your in the routers forum and you should be in the mobile hotspot forum.

2. the settings aren't on the screen, you have to log into the device from your computer browser or the app to make adjustments.

Here's the user manual that tells you how to access the settings from a browser or the app
