Nighthawk D8500 as router and mk62 As access point
Is it possible to install together nighthawk D8500 as router and MK 62 as an access point?

2 different questions.
1. can you use the D8500 and MK62 together? Yes. just as you described. Use the d8500 in router mode and MK62 in access point mode.
2. can you have them with the same ssid? sure. Will it function as mesh? no. Your devices will be sticky and tend to stay connected to the d8500 or the mk62 and not roam. Because the D8500 isn't a mesh device. And they don't integrated. I'd leave the ssid's seperate so you can choose which to connect to.
