Nighthawk R 7000 not compatible with kindle

I have the correct login, but my kindle will not accept it. I have tried the kindles at another persons house and they accept their login so it is not the kindle. Is there something I need to do to the router to have it compatible with the kindle.

Login for what? Wifi? Browser graphical user interface? Something else?

If wifi, can other things connect?

What happens when you try to login? Any messages?

Is the Model: A7000|Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi USB Adapter - USB 3.0 listed in your footer involved in this in anyway? Or did you just click the first thing that popped up when you wrote your message?

Just another user.

Re: Nighthawk R 7000 not compatible with kindle

Greetings,

Most kindles have a 2.4Ghz radio.  If you have SMART connect enabled, it may not connect.  Use two separate SSID names and try connecting to the 2.4Ghz broadcast.  This is an incorrect setting somewhere, not your kindle device.
