Nighthawk R6900P no longer displaying attached devices !! ggrrr

Ok so now I am having another issue with this darn router.  A few days ago I noticed that the attached device page is not listing anything. Mind you everything is connected and working ok.  But the router shows ZERO devices connected.  What gives.....  I have seen others complain about issues but not with this model.  Hoping someone knows what the issue is other than hard resetting it.  Because if thats the fix I am just buying a new router. Its a royal PITA to reset up this house.

So I have tried rebooting the router, unplugging it waiting like 10 mins. Tried powering down devices and rebooting them and see if they would reappear but nope.  I saw these were other things suggest by some other members on other threads.  This is something quite recent, maybe in the last month. Maybe longer, or sooner but I just noticed it 4 days ago and have not been able to correct it.

Nighthawk R6900P

Firmware Version
V1.3.1.44_10.1.23

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

 John

Where are you looking? Browser interface. Desktop genie? Mobile app?

Re: Nighthawk R6900P no longer displaying attached devices !! ggrrr

Looking via Windows and chrome browser. Haven't checked Genie yet.

Side note: I found another thread that stated the firmware I have is the culprit, BUT that was a while ago I updated it. I canot believe Netgear wouldnt have fixed this issue by now.  Its very possible I updated like 6-7 months ago and just never checked attached devices and saw the issue until now.

Happens here all the time. Windows is broken, not the router.

Maybe a factory reset will mend anything broken in the router.

Re: Nighthawk R6900P no longer displaying attached devices !! ggrrr

Don't think it's windows, just checked a few moments ago Network Genie and everything there is messed up.  With the trouble resdetting does I would just go buy a new Linksys Router at this point.  This router failed again somewhere along the lines.  My other Nighthawk works perfectly, and my old TP link never had odd issues like this before. This router has been a PITA.  Luckily I can return it to Costco if needed.   I may try reverting to the older version of the firmware for the meantime.
