Nighthawk R6900P wifi authentication after a week so
I've had my Nighthawk router for awhile (year and a half I would estimate) and it has worked fairly well. I downloaded the new firmware and started having problems with wifi where all the devices will drop and can't reconnect. I've done a factory reset and reconfigured and it still happens. Will run fine for a week or two. I can see on my android phone it is getting an Authentication error. Wired devices are fine.
Router is R6900
Firmware is V18.104.22.168_10.1.36
Using: WPA2-PSK [AES]
Using only 2.4Ghz, although the 5GHz Radio is turned on.
Devices are a mixture of everything (ipads/ Macbook / windows 10 laptop / nest cam/amazon echo/sprinkler controller, etc.

From a problem determination standpoint, always look to the last thng done before issue shows up. In this case a firmware update. Would suggest you install the older version you were running.
IMHO, Netgear is putting out garbage for firmware updates now.
