Hi hope someone can help.
Ever since I upgraded the firmware on my Nighthawk R7000 from V1.0.9.88_10.2.42 to V1.0.11.106_10.2.100, my 5G disconnects several times a day.
Did anyone else experience the same problem when uograding to V1.0.11.106_10.2.100?
If so, do I have to downgrade back to V1.0.9.88_10.2.42 to fix the problem?
Thanks so much

Some might first try an update. V1.0.11.106_10.2.100 is not the
latest version I see.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads. (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".) Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions. (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)
When that fails because of a deficient User Manual, try:

I'd start with a factory reset and a clean install (not from backup).
if that doesn't help, then I'd try the downgrade.

Re: Nighthawk R7000 - 5G disconnects since upgrading firmware to V1.0.11.106_10.2
Thanks so much for the advice, but I didn't realize that another upgrade was available 1.0.11.110, so I will try that first before doing a factory reset. When I had my router check for any new updates, it didn't come up with any, but there appeasr to be one on the Netgear website.
Thanks so much for your help

Hello,
I want to report back that after more than 8 days since upgrading to 1.0.11.110, my 5G has not disconnected at all, so the upgrade did the trick!
Thanks so much for your help!
