Okay, here it is: I was getting 5g wifi at 240M with Comcast UNTIL the last firmware update. Now it's like capped around 43M. In fact, my 2.4g and 5g are both capped at that speed. My wired R7000 ethernet is still 240M. What the heck is this about? Please tell me a step by step process on how to revert to previous firmware updates and where exactly to download them. I only see the latest one on Netgear downloads.
Thanks, Bob

I also updated the performance optimization database and chose to keep it automatically updated. It restored mine to ISP speeds. Good luck!!!

Forgot to mention, I did a factory reset already and it didn't help. That's why I think it's definitely the latest firmware.

Thanks IronCloudE! I had previously done most of what you said but I didn't go further because the "Performance Optimization" update looked like a lower version. I went ahead and updated it and 5g is flying again. I guess I learned to beware of firmware updates. 😉
Thanks again!
