Nighthawk R7000 Sub-Netting

Hello All,

I am looking for a little bit of help with my NIghthawk R7000 Wifi router.  I am trying to set up to subnets, one the typical IP range, the other a /28 IP scheme.  I have my VLAN's for each network set up on my switch, and I have also added static routes on the the Nighthawk in the static routes table. My issue is my normal network works fine, but my /28 network isn't able to ping the internet.  I can ping the gateway, but not the internet.  My main question is, does the Nighthawk even support multiple subnets? If so how is it usually set up? Thanks for your time and support.

Nope.  No multiple subnets, and nothing  greater than /24 on your primary network.

EDIT: maybe in third party fw.

+1.  It's my understanding that older Netgear routers could NAT for multiple subnets, so they have regressed by removing support in the newer routers.  Smiley Frustrated

Third party firmware should support it.  OP is lucky to have an R7000, which has great third party support.
