Nighthawk R7000 VPN will not work on OSX only

Hey,

I have the VPN service running and it works on my iphone fine with OpenVPN

The service will not work on my mac through Tunnel or Viscosity

It shows that it connects but it does not change the IP or do much else.

It is driving me absolutley insane.

Router - Firmware Version - V1.0.7.2_1.1.93

OSX - 10.11.6

Latest versions of Tunnel or Viscosity

Any help would be appreciated<3 Thank you!

Hi dejayjohn,

You've mentioned that the above logs is for viscosity software. I would like to ask for the logs using the Tunnelblick.

Re: Nighthawk R7000 VPN will not work on OSX only

Hi, I ran into this issue as well, it seems like DHCP isn't working on OSX and Linux. Windows and android both worked excellent!

Adding the following two lines to the bottom of my client2.conf resolved this for me:

ifconfig 192.168.1.205 255.255.255.0

route-gateway 192.168.1.1
