Nighthawk R7000 won't connect to one particular website.
I have a R7000 router that I have had for many years of reliable services.
I started developing a wp site recently. Suddenly, I can no longer connect to the domain in any manner from any device and it doesn't matter if the device is hardline or wifi connected.
I know it is the router.
1. I troubleshooted and I can connect to the site if I bypass the router and connect to the modem directly.
2. I can connect to the site on my mobile device as long as I am not on the wifi.
3. If I am connected to the router and use a VPN I can connect to the site Once I disconnect from the VPN, I can't connect to it anymore. Using the VPN is not a viable solution for me. I only used it to troubleshoot.
I have restarted the router multiple times.
I have reset the router to factory settings multiple times.
I have cleared my browsers caches multiple times.
I cannot find any similar issues in my search for answers.
I contacted my ISP and troubleshooted with them. They said they don't block URL's. I didn't think it was them anyhow. I am positive it is the router.

Strange. To complete the picture, the usual questions.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
