Nighthawk R7000
I have purchased a condo where the wifi is provided (unsecured). Can I plug my nighthawk R7000 into their wifi router or directly into their signal? Will this work, and will this secure my usage?

Not as it is. The R7000 is a router, piling one router on to another is a recipe for disaster.
You ask about plugging into their router, if that means that there is an Ethernet socket, you could try putting the R7000 into wireless access point mode.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point.
As for "directly into their signal", that would be the next bits in the manual. But that may mean making changes to the buiding's own router.
