Nighthawk R7900P won’t connect devices to 5Ghz

Using router for past six months with only occasional loss of 5Ghz connections. Now the router (has latest firmware) will not connect at all. Have only 2 devices designated for 5Ghz, neither will connect after numerous reboots.

Thanks. Was able to assign Apple TV to the specific 5Ghz network. So far no problems.

Dont understand what happened; all devices were assigned to one of two networks. All worked without problems for past six months.

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

Firmware version: 1.4.1.42_1.3.4

Spectrum supplied modem: Hitron Technologies. E31N2V1; has one Ethernet port.

Able to connect Roku wireless device to 5Ghz through Roku on screen app. Apple TV 4K still not connecting to 5Ghz.despite numerous reboots.

Smells like a conflict with the Apple box.

Any other useful information that you left out of your minimalist first message?
