Nighthawk R8000P Readyshare renaming itself
Hi,
I've got a Netgear R8000P all set up and working great, except for Readyshare: The Share Name seems to be changing itself randomly. For example, it's been changing from "\\READYSHARE\S_Drive" to "\\READYSHARE\T_Drive" most recently. It usually happens after a router restart or update, but sometimes mid-day, even while it's in use. The result is that all Windows 10 machines that have it mapped as a network drive cannot find it. The temporary fix is to manually rename it to what it was, or map the windows machines to the new name; but it usually changes again in a few days. Is there any fix, or set-and-forget workarounds? The other forum posts on this topic seem to be very old dead ends.
Model: Netgear R8000P
FW: V1.4.1.50_1.3.10
Thanks!

Re: Nighthawk R8000P Readyshare renaming itself
Bumping my empty thread because it happened again - months later, on the same firmware version. "T_Drive" changed to "S_Drive" as usual. Very strange.
