Nighthawk R8500 Port Forwarding not working
I tried my very hardest to forward my port, but it did not work. I've attempted to set a static IP address and then port forward again but it still didn't work. I've launched something to use the port, but when I use the port checker it says the connection is timed out no matter what I try. I beg of anyone reading this, please free me from my misery and fix this troublesome issue that has plagued me and my mind for hours. I can feel my sanity decreasing every second that I am left with this failure of mine, and I don't think I can last much longer. If no one helps me soon, I fear the worst may come.

Firmware version? Connected to what?

None of that is a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
I can't (yet) see your picture. In-line images must be approved
by a moderator before others can see them. The time required varies.
Attachments have no such limitation. Of course, attachments have their
own one-per-message limitation.

What could be worse that trying to guess what you did, and what
happened when you did it, based on no useful information at all?
Is there some actual problem which you are trying to solve using port
forwarding?
For the usual problems with port forwarding, see:

So begin with a simple explanation of what you actually want to achieve.
Like the points on a railway line, which are there to send a train to B rather than C, Port Forwarding is there so that you can make something happen.
Has someone said to you that you need port forwarding to get a device or service to work? If so, what?
You never know, someone may have been down that road before and can offer informed advice on port forwarding. Or they may have managed to do what you want in a completely different way.
