Nighthawk X8 R8500
While doing a speed test while I am in Dynamic Qos menu of Nighthawk R8500 it gives me download speed of 82.55Mbps upload speed of 11.47Mbps but when do the speeed outside of the Nighthawk R8500 I am getting download speed of 9.78 upload speed of 2.52. The same lower speed I can see next time I log into Nighthawk R8500. Why is that? How can I resolve it?
I had the same problem, it appears that the Qos takes a lot of overhead. I have a fiber optic connection with 1G up and down, with Qos enabled my DL was 102 mbps and 50 up. I then disabled the Qos and the speed went to DL 863 and 850 up. Give this a try and see if that helps.
