It was the cable, I bought a CAT7 cable on Amazon and that is what I was using. I changed it to a CAT6 cable and I am now getting the 1000 MEG speeds. Thank you for your help

Which you determined how, exactly? Amber port-status LED on the
router, or what?

Less defective Ethernet cable?
Assuming that you're right about that speed, there are not many
potential culprits to blame here: Bad port on router, bad port on NAS,
bad cable. Generally, a bad cable is the most likely. Test/substitute
the various pieces to determine which causes the problem.
(Note: "m" = "milli" = 1/1000. "M" = "mega" = 1000000.)

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
