Nighthawk ac2300 wifi does not connect with internet
Ethernet works perfectly, but wifi doesn't. Unlike the other "answers" I have read and tried reseting the modem, disconnecting and reconnecting through a comand prompt or console, updating the firmware, and after speaking with tech support returned and replaced the router. As it stands I have lightning fast ethernet connection to the internet, but every single device I have tried and updated and then retried has failed to connect to the internet. Devices being: linux pc, windows pc, Mac pc, iOS phone and tablet, and windows 10 tablet. If anyone knows how to the fix this I would be very appriciative! Since this discussion is a last resort I will switch routers to another companies instead of messing with it anylonger if noone here knows how.

What is your ISP modem Mfr and Model #?
Cable or DSL?
What UPtoSpeeds do you have set on the NG router?
ANy other neighbors near by? How many and what channels are they using?
Try setting UptoSpeeds on both radios to 300Mb and test.
Set WPA2 and AES only.
Manual channel on 2.4Ghz to 1, 6 or 11. Try these channels. Try any channel on 5ghz.
Disable QoS and IPv6.
Save settings and do a full reboot of the router and see if anything changes.
My Setup (Cable 200Mb/10Mb)>C7800(Modem Mode)>RBK852
Additional NG HW: CM1100/1200, Orbi CBK40(Gateway Mode), RBK50, R7800, R7960P, EX7500/EX7700, XR450 and WNHDE111
