For a few mnoths my R7000 -100NAS stops working a few times a week. Rebooting and/or waiting and it comes back on after a few minutes. Early on I checked the Nighthawk app and it said my firmware was up to date. Today I went to the Netgear website and found that there is new firmware. Turns out there have been SIX updated versions. I figured out how to update the firmware "manually". Seems to run faster but too early to tell if the drops have been eliminated.

The update notification is not reliable. Not on the router itself and not in the app. I suggest regurarly and manually checking for new firmware.
