Nighthawk is intalled BUT is not connected to int-net

Have an ASUS router currently.   It is working fine.  Finds Internet, etc.

Trying to "install" the Nighthawk router as per instructions, but each time, I get  "Connected but No Internet".   What should I do?

Re: Nighthawk is intalled BUT is not connected to int-net

Are you going this route:

modem (which is?)--------->Asus router (? model)------->R7900P?

If so, unless you placed the netgear in AP mode, you're in a double nat and can easily get that notice.

If you plan on keeping that setup, place the R7900P in AP (access point) mode or you have 2 routers both trying to manage your routing setup.

Current Setup: CM2000-> RBK750-> GS716v2-> RAXE500-> Pi-hole->

.... and remember to reboot the network in the right order.

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:

  • Turn off and unplug modem.
  • Turn off router and computers.
  • Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
  • Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
  • Turn on computers and rest of network.

My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V
