Has it a model number? Firmware version? Connected to what?

"requires"? You determined this how, exactly?

"no success" is not a useful problem description. It does not say
what you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

"network name"? You'd certainly need some password, but there's more
than one.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Look for "Types of Logins" and "remote".

I'd expect that to be the least of your troubles.
For an explanation of why I believe that you're doomed, see:

There seems to be a rash of these queries, lately.

You need to set up Remote Management before you leave home. Too late now.
Look it up in the manual for whatever router this is you are talking about.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
If your hardware supports Remote Management, most do, you can control and reboot a working router but it is hard to see how you can access something that is off line, if that is the problem you see.

That is no help. So don't waste time pursuing that thought.
