My download speeds are very slow when hard wired or wireless connected to the Nighthawk router. If I hardwired to my modem supplied by the cable company I get speeds around 50 mbps down and 3 mbps up. When I connect to the router they are any where between .75-10mbps down. Thoughts?
I am unsure of the firmware at this time. I will check when I get home later today. I do know that I have not updated the firmware on the unit since I purchaced it about six months ago. The router is sitting on the middle shelf of an open glass TV stand.
The modem is an Arris (not sure exact model) that was supplied by the cable company. Like I said earlier I am able to get 50mbps out of the modem itself but when i connect the router the speeds drop. I will try to update to the latest firmware today.
