No Ethernet cable is plugged in the the router internet port D8500

It's actually the D8500.

Please help in resolving this problem.. on the latest version of firmware ...tried everything but it still says the same thing about cable not plugged in...

What is saying no cable connected to the internet port (yellow port) of modem/router the Genie app or the gui of the modem router?

I am testing the router based on a ADSL connection before my FTTN (VDSL) service is delivered... Spoke to my current ISP and they are also looking into the problem.. Not sure as yet...Might be a authentication issue with the Nighthawk router and the ISPs authentication server... Trying to cover all bases before new VDSL service is delivered...
