Not getting internet connection

I need help. I have the nighthawk R7200 AC2100 Smart WiFi router and I’ve plugged it in and there is no internet connect through the router. I’ve gone on genie, I’ve checked the cable I know the modem works I plugged it into my computer and got connection. I’ve rebooted the router through the genie, I’ve checked for updates is shows I have firmware version V1.2.0.48

What is that modem?

 

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:

  • Turn off and unplug modem.
  • Turn off router and computers.
  • Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
  • Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
  • Turn on computers and rest of network.
