Plex server failing. Nighthawk R9000

I have been using the R9000 Nighthawk X10 Plex server for over 12 months.

It recently stopped working.

It was not working on Router Firmware Version V1.0.4.28 and I noticed that Router Firmware Version V1.0.4.34 upgrade was available.

I performed the upgrade hoping to fix the issue, but it did not.

When I go to the Plex Media server page there is a new button to Rebuild Database Your Plex database encountered issues. To fix the issues, click the Rebuild Database button.

This has not fixed the issue.

I have tried the disable and enable check box.

No success.

When I attempt to go to the http://routerlogin.net/plex page...... I get This site can't be reached.

Any suggestions???

Thank You!

Alanlh

Re: Plex server failing. Nighthawk R9000

I've never used the R9000 but if something got corrupted, a factory reset is a good place to start. If it truly was corrupt, I'd reinstall the firmware over a hardwired connection, then reset it, and manually redo your setup. Its a bit of a scorched earth plan but it makes sure one of your settings or backups isn't causing the issue.
