No it should be something like this: tftp -i 192.168.1.1 PUT nameoffirmware.img

If you wanna make things simple just rename the file to like a.img so its easier to type or paste in the command prompt.

Re: Power LED is blinking R7800

Try a Factory reset on the router and setup from scratch...

Re: Power LED is blinking R7800

You may need to do a tftp flash with the latest firmware or older one if you want. I posted detailed instructions on how but the forum decided it needs to be moderated for some reason.

Just follow these instructions:

Re: Power LED is blinking R7800

Theres this FAQ:

Hopefully a factory reset is all thats needed.

Hopefully, but as for that tftp app its never worked for me. I've always done it directly via prompt.

Hi mjeeda,

Have you tried the TFTP using the software?

I don't want to be too smart, I am new here but...

Do You think that tftp syntax on the attached by mjeeda screen is ok?

Apparently not, or else the TFTP program wouldn't have emitted that

usage guide.

As usual, copy+paste of plain text would have been more helpful than
a picture of plain text, but, as I read it, the attempted command was:

      tftp -192.168.1.1 putR7800-V1.0.2.46

which is missing the "i" in "-i", is missing required white-space to
separate the tokens (twice), and (most likely) specifies the wrong file
name.  ("Apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?")

Something like the following might have had a better chance:

      tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put R7800-V1.0.2.46.img

Re: Power LED is blinking R7800

antinode its the latter one with -i that works. I use it quite often for testing various firmwares of LEDE/OpenWRT and returning to stock, been the same way since my WNDR3800 infact. Doesn't work without -i not to mention he forgot to put a space between put and the filename like you mentioned plus the file extension as well.
